Who Are The Most Innovative Rock Bands Of All Time?

Rock music's current booming popularity hides the fact that it wasn't always this way. It took some musical innovators to bring thr genre to a mass audience. While there are scores of contemporary musicians breaking new music territory, these rock greats were some of the most innovative of all time:
 
The Beatles
This almost goes without saying. Drawing on the infectious harmonies and lyrics that originally drew in their fan base, The Beatles didn’t rest on their original laurels of success. Instead they continued to innovative music in a career of unmatched output.   

David Bowie
Bowie's large and eclectic output includes important albums like Ziggy Stardust, along with a great variety of hit singles. Bowie's career spans several decades, during which his work has always been relevant.

Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin turned up the volume of rock music in a big way, birthing the glorious heavy metal. Loaded with expert musicians, Zeppelin expanded songs into complex ballads.

Beach Boys
The Beach Boys are easy to overlook as poppy surfer dudes, though in reality their undeniably catchy tunes draw upon Chuck Berry and other early rockers to create lush harmonies.

Radiohead
Radiohead took experimental, electronic music and made it popular. The group’s popularity stems in part from an ability to connect Thom Yorke’s lyrics coupled with the band's continued musical innovation.

City Streets Restaurant: Dine and Unwind

A great spot to sit down for a good meal or grab a drink and watch the game, City Streets Restaurant is a friendly local favorite. It has an elegantly simple modern feel, and manages to have a large number of televisions while not coming across like a run of the mill sports bar. That same care carries over to the menu, which has a whole lot more to offer than typical pub fare. A lot of classic comfort food is on the menu here, ranging from chicken pot pie to some really tasty wings. There are also a number of incredibly creative dishes, like a crab rangoon dip and a sinfully decadent cheeseburger stuffed with mac & cheese. Prompt and friendly service accompanies all of these terrific dishes, as does free Wi-Fi. Open late and nothing but welcoming, City Streets Restaurant is a delicious and relaxing option for a fun night out.
